Keeping Herbs Fresh

Just a quick tip for keeping this week's parsley & dill from wilting: stand the herbs upright in a glass of water, either on the counter or in the fridge and drape a plastic bag over the top of the bouquet.

  1. A quick tip for other taprooters on the fresh herbs. I wasn't sure where to post this, but as far as the lavender from this week goes, I'm using the flowers to make lavender sugar to sprinkle on top of desserts. Couldn't be easier: lavender + sugar. Shake around from time to time. Keep covered.

  2. Good tip on how to keep herbs from wilting. I got Dill, but didn't get any parsley!
