What Grows in the Greenhouse

As the seedlings in the greenhouse grow, they're transplanted into bigger and bigger pots. Most of the plants will go out to the fields and tunnels before they produce fruit, but the zucchinis are apparently doing just fine where they are! The question is, how do we share out the three zucchinis ready for picking amongst so many members??

  1. It worked for the loaves and the fishes! Great pickins this week-thank you! Heather and Jeff had fun going to get the shares. We have decided that although a pick up in Kentville is an awesome idea, we actually enjoy the trek out to the farm and will be sharing the task. And there is the bonus of passing by Fox Hill on the way...

  2. Hi Patrica

We met at the CSA conference in November.. I was curious to see how things went and am so happy to see everything you're working on. The website & blog look awesome.

  3. Wellllll, you could always grow them to the size of houses and carve them up to share! ;)

  4. Hello to all of you in Nova Scotia! I read the blog with great interest, a watering mouth, a bit of regret and a good dose of jealousy.

You see, we moved to South Carolina from Kentville just about a year ago and the thing I miss the most is buying local. There are a few opportunities here but, believe it or not, you are way ahead!

It may be a few years before we will be back in NS but we will be signing up for a share.

Looking forward to eating vicariously through the blog and maybe I'll get a chance to see a pick-up when we are home this summer (nudge, nudge Tayrn!).
