So how is this going to work exactly with people who pick up at the Grainery? I showed up last night eggcited to get some eggs but was told that we had to buy them from the Grainery ($4) rather then from you ($3). Just wondering what are options are and what other fellow Halifax Grainery pickupers think.
This is Lorrie, I work at the Grainery. The eggs at the Grainery are sourced from more than one farm. The price of the eggs at the Grainery is not always $4, it depends on the source. I appreciate that you are frustrated at having to pay more. Patricia & I did discuss the issue, but we felt that it would not be appropriate for Taproot to offer a product that is offered at the Grainery. I assure you that the quality of the Grainery eggs is in no way inferior, and usually come from the valley.
