Taproot CSA members are invited to celebrate spring at our first member's event on Monday April 13th at 10 AM. Meet the farm crew, take a tour of the greenhouses, take a stroll around the ponds, and get to know your fellow members. Please remember to wear rubber boots. Bring a mug for some coffee or tea or hot chocolate.

We tried the Cabbage Stew tonight. I reduced the olive oil to 1 Tbsp. and because I didn't want the potatoes and carrots over cooked, I held them out for the first half hour of simmering. Then in deference to my children who don't like cooked tomatoes, I left out the can of diced tomatoes. It was great - well received by all family members. Thanks.
